What is Notary ?
A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by the secretary of state. they serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. As notaries it is our duty to screen the signers of the documents correctly for their legal identity and asses their willingness to sign without seaming under duress or intimidation. It is our job to make sure clients are aware of the contents of the document or transaction(s) and make sure they understand what is being signed.
What is a Loan Signing Agent?
A Loan Signing Agent (LSA) is a trained notary who is insured and bonded that acts as an impartial party that meets with mortgage borrowers and/or sellers of real estate to execute loan documents for mortgage companies because many of the documents require notarization.
What is a PennDOT Authorized Agent?
PennDOT Authorized Agents are private individual businesses who are under contract with PennDOT & provide services to its customers. These contracted agents have completed DMV required certifications & understand the processes of vehicle titling, registration, and licensing.
